It is so much more than that. Each week as we teach the classes, you will hear us talking about some of the benefits, but every activity that we do together has been carefully crafted to add developmental benefits to your little one. We might be working on proprioception skills for balance, steady beat to help with walking and math skills, or using bubbles to help develop strong eye muscles. We ADORE talking about child development, so PLEASE ask us about why we are doing an activity, we would LOVE to tell you!

We’re so excited to finally share this! ALLO stands for Adventures in Languages for Little Ones. It’s the curriculum we’ve been building right here on PEI for the past four years. It’s uniquely bilingual, homegrown, and Canadian through and through. Our class names now reflect the heart of what we do and the incredible work our team has poured into it. We can’t wait to showcase it!

No! At The Nest, we teach a LOVE of French and a LOVE of music. Everything is created to gently wrap you and your kiddo in a warm hug of movement, community, and learning! The French is sprinkled in with pronunciation guides available and is at a level we want toddlers to be able to repeat. (Also, Madame Abbey nor Miss Emily both are native English speakers, and just have a big LOVE for French!)

You can come to more than one class – come to as many each week as fit into your schedule, we love getting to see you often and it is a fantastic way to grow community!

We keep classes small and cosy, with a maximum of 10 children. That means more connection, more participation, and more joy. Weekday unlimited classes and special events may occasionally have a few extra friendly faces.

Yes! We ran our first bilingual summer camp this year with Canadian Parents for French, and we are excited to offer bilingual P.D. days (Camp Congé) throughout the school year! You can find them in our calendar of events to register.

Absolutely not. We encourage everyone to sing to their kiddos – because you are their favourite voice to hear! But if you don’t want to make a peep the whole time you’re here, don’t worry, we will do all of the talking / singing!

Yes please! Everyone, little ones and grown-ups, removes their shoes at the door. We have a designated spot inside the studio to keep our foam mats clean and cosy for all the crawling, rolling, and dancing.

Yes please! We LOVE getting to meet your family and we love getting them involved in classes. We have benches and chairs that they can sit in comfortably at the back of the room, or they are welcome to come and sit with us down on the soft foam floors too! This is an especially great idea if they want to bring your little one sometime without you being there!

Absolutely! Carseats and carriers are welcome in the studio, and we have space in the hallway to park strollers. If you need a hand juggling it all, please just shout for help when you arrive!

Typically, Miss Emily teaches Tuesdays / Wednesdays, and Madame Abbey teaches Thursdays and Saturdays. Sometimes we swap classes around or trade to help accommodate appointments for us, or any of our combined 6 kiddos. Every so often, we will have a substitute teacher come in if we are both busy, but that rarely happens, and when it does the teachers are always AMAZING too!

A HUGE bonus of our new location is that there is fantastic parking right on site! It’s FREE, there are always spaces available, and you can choose to park at the front (where there are the most spaces), and come in the main door, or to park along the fence at the back of the building to come in the back entrance that is ground level with the studio (no stairs!).

We’re committed to being as accessible as possible. Park at the back and come in the back door for step-free, ground-level access to the studio. If you have specific accessibility needs, let us know before your visit at office@thenestpei.com and we’ll do everything we can to help.

We do! In our newly renovated bathroom, we have a full sized wooden change table along with extra diapers, wipes and blankets for your convenience!

A HEPA air filter runs during every class, and the studio and all instruments are disinfected between sessions. We ask families to stay home if anyone is feeling unwell, and we’ll help with rescheduling. Masks are always welcome, but not required. We’re a judgment-free zone!

Don’t stress, we’ve got you! We keep extras on hand: diapers, wipes, snacks, bibs, and a spare blanket or two. And if we don’t have it, chances are another Nest family does.

Every child belongs at The Nest. We do our best to make a welcoming space for children of all abilities and their caregivers. Weekday Unlimited is $85/month for any and all age-appropriate weekday classes. Saturday Reserved Spot is $75/month, and your spot is held every week. Want to try us first? Single classes are $23 (pay per class). No semester fees and no big upfront costs! Special Events may have different prices.

Yes! Additional children get 10% off. Choose the 2 child plan at checkout and the discount is already applied. For 3 kiddos on a monthly plan, email office@thenestpei.com and we’ll set you up. (For a single class or event, the 3 kiddo discount is automatic!) Babies under 6 months attend free with a paid older sibling, so just let us know when you register!

No! We have been listening, and we understand how tricky it is trying to register for semesters when you’re going to be away / back to work / etc. That is why we have switched to a monthly subscription that you can register for ANYTIME! You will be charged when you register, and that will be the date that you are charged again the following month.

No — if you have purchased an unlimited weekday monthly subscription, your registration covers all sessions. Just drop in to the ones that fit your week! No need to tell us in advance, just work with your schedule, and we will be ready!

No guilt here! Life with little ones is unpredictable. Your monthly rate stays the same whether you come once or four times. We’ll be here when you are.

Yes! You are in charge of your subscription. We know that life changes, jobs come up, and that seasons change. To cancel your subscription, just login to MY ACCOUNT on the website, and scroll down to SUBSCRIPTIONS. You can cancel it there.
